Happy Rest-of-the-Year! The Tishrey/fall holy day cycle has come to a close, and now our first Jewish year together continues. It was a great and welcome beginning. I look forward to re-meeting many of you throughout the year – please be in touch anytime with thoughts, questions, ideas for learning, leading and growing Or Haneshamah. We are indeed a light-and-soul-filled bunch. Thank you all for your warm welcomes.
Our next opportunity to celebrate our Jew-y-ness is … this Shabbat, as we continue our twice-monthly Torah mornings together. If we want to tear down the parking lot that has paved over Paradise, we need first to remember the Garden, recall what was before the Flood, the destruction, and recreate what we can, modeling our vision of everywhere being Eden Once Again… it’s back to the beginning of all beginnings – Breishit and Noah, the great universal stories that launch book of Genesis. Join me, members of all ages, and our visitors, as we sing and reflect and learn together.
