Celebrate the Days of Awe with us!
This Jewish New Year will be marked with a renewed sense of connection as we slowly make our way back to in-person services and events.
We welcome members, guests and visitors to join us either via Zoom for many of our services, or in-person for a full schedule of highly interactive services and programs, delivered with our usual mix of spirit, good humor, thoughtful intention, and joyous music.
Each gathering, whether you choose to join virtually or in-person, will incorporate opportunities for authentic connection and conversation, and a range of ways for you to engage head and heart.
As we do every year, we welcome you as you are, whoever you are, and wherever you are.

The suggested minimum donation for Visitors this year is $414 (for one-adult households)/$972 (for two-adult households) for all Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services. This donation level reflects the cost of delivering our High Holy Day services and events – costs that are not substantially different from our usual in-person services. At the same time, we appreciate that the pandemic may have caused hardship for some individuals and families. In those cases, we encourage visitors to make a donation that corresponds to their personal circumstances, while respecting the membership and clergy that uphold our community.
Students may join us for just $48 (and receive a full year's OrH membership).

For security reasons we require advance registration for all non-members who wish to attend a service. Details are below. (As a reminder, Associate Members of Or Haneshamah who plan to join us for the High Holy Days should register as Visitors.)

Please note that we are again offering a sliding donation scale this year. The amount above is the suggested minimum. We encourage visitors to consider donating $414 per 1 adult household and $972 for 2 adult households. No one will be turned away for financial reasons. If you are unable to afford our suggested minimum donation please donate what you are able.
For Visitors with an OrH Account:
If you are a returning Visitor, or an Associate Member of Or Haneshamah, please register and arrange payment online. You will have to login with your email address (the one to which we send our regular newsletters) and password. If you have any problems with the process please contact our webmaster at webmaster@orh.ca.
For New Visitors:
If you are joining us for the first time, you must register for an account on our website. Click here to do so. After creating your account, you can log in and register for the High Holiday Services. Reconstructionist Discount!
Members of congregations affiliated with Reconstructing Judaism may attend without donation throughout the High Holy Days but must register and provide proof of membership in advance. To do so, please contact our administrator at administrator@orh.ca or 613-239-4988.
Charitable tax receipts will be issued for all donations.

Pay $48 dollars to join us for High Holy Days and stay for the whole year!
Or Haneshamah offers a steep member discount to students who are currently living in the Ottawa area. Are you looking to spend High Holy Days somewhere? Try us out for $48 and get a whole year's membership to go with it!

Guests of OrH Members
Regular members of Or Haneshamah can pay for immediate family members who are not included in a household membership (adult children, parents, grandparents, siblings, and their partners), regardless of where they live, to join them for the High Holy Days at OrH at the rate of $86/guest. Payment is made through the member's account by accessing the Guest Registration Form here. **Please note that you must be signed in to your account to access this form.**

Please note that our Guest policy only applies to regular members and to their immediate family. Non-immediate relatives and friends of OrH members who wish to attend services are asked to register as Visitors.
