Reconstructionist Specific

We are one of three Reconstructionist synagogues in Canada. Our sibling-synagogues are Darchei Noam in Toronto, and Dorshei Emet in Quebec.

Reconstructing Judaism is the central organization of the Reconstructionist movement. They aim to uplift Reconstructionist individuals and communities. Visit their website for educational resources or to connect with fellow Reconstructionists.

Camp Havaya is the summer camp program run by Reconstructing Judaism for kids, teens and families. Camp Havaya looks to create a magical summer experience where kids can learn to be their best selves and connect to something greater.

The Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association is the professional association of Reconstructionist Rabbis, which serves as collegial community and represents the rabbinic voice in Reconstructionist contexts as well as the Reconstructionist voice in broader Jewish contexts.

Ritualwell is an extensive online resource of original Jewish prayers and rituals. An initiative of Reconstructing Judaism, Ritualwell grew out of a call for resources that speak to women and LGBTQ people. Today Ritualwell houses over 1600+ available rituals to engage with, all available for free on their website. Ritualwell also has an online store where you can purchase Jewish ritual objects.

Evolve is another initiative created by Reconstructing Judaism; explore thought-provoking essays and learn more by listening to communal conversations that address topics from the viewpoint of multiple voices.

Reconstructionist Press is the online store for Reconstructing Judaism. Here you can purchase Reconstructionist related literature, such as the Kol Haneshamah prayerbooks that we use at Or Haneshamah.
