Shavuot Inspired Learning Fair

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Join us for a day of learning in honour of Shavuot 5784 as well as Machaneh Shabbat's last session of the year.
 
10 am - Shabbat Morning Songs and Blessings 
 
10:15 -10:35  - EVERYONE is invited to make flower crowns with Machaneh Shabbat in Room 5 OR to continue with Pesukei Dezimra and Shema blessings in FH 
 
10:45-11:10 - Head to FH for a Commandments Match-Up - join a team to array the order of and commentaries on the 10 Commandments OR Stay in Room 5 for 10 Commandments scavenger hunt and Har Sinai reenactment.
 
11:15 - noon  - Join Machaneh Shabbat in Room 5 for Hebrew name calligraphy and micrograph OR Rabbi Liz in FH for an  Ezekiel paper-bag re-enactment - this 1st chapter of the book of Ezekiel, the haftarah of Shavuot, takes us on a wild and wacky imaginative journey. 
 
Noon - 12:15 - Room 5 will offer our concluding Wows and Adon Olam of the year and FH will offer a closing service/tefilla, including Mourner's Kaddish
 
12:15 - upstairs Kiddish and Hamotzi. Don't forget to hang around for the DIY Sundae bar
