Repairing the World Restart

Back in the Fall some members of OrH began a new initiative called “Repairing the world” with the purpose of aligning the community around a project of Tikkun Olam. So much has happened since those early meetings! Our world has changed so dramatically in ways we could not have foreseen. It feels even more urgent now that we restart this initiative that was unexpectedly thrown off course by Covid. We now have the confidence that we can continue to evolve the project in our new virtual world.

This is an invitation to members of our community to participate. That means you!

To recount where we left off - we had zoomed in on three areas of likely action:

1. Cultural Genocide of Canada’s Indigenous Peoples
2. Denial of Exceeding our Ecological Footprint
3. Rejection of the Racialized Other

Our work will begin with revisiting the three options and narrowing these down to one, and then creating a plan to identify the project.
