Program begins via Zoom: 8:30pm

We’ll join with three other Reconstructionist communities – SAJ in Manhattan and Kehillath Shalom in Cold Spring Harbor, NY, as well as Adat Shalom in Bethesda, Maryland, to listen to the mournful verses of Lamentations and reflect on Suffering and Solidarity. This solemn ritual is usually held by candlelight, with participants who are able seated on the ground. Those who wish to attend masked and in person will gather in Room 5 to set up our space, and at 8:30pm we will join with others joining by Zoom to sing, study, hear the chanting of Lamentations, and start the journey of rebuilding and renewal that leads to the New Year.
