Counting the Omer
Thursday, 30 April, 2020 • 6 Iyyar 5780
8:00 PM - 9:00 PMZoomJoin us for an Omer-counting ritual for the next four weeks, until Shavuot. When we gather via Zoom, we will recite the counting blessing and greet the new week of the Omer. Together we will discuss the Sefirah or "attribute" that is associated with that new week. Sarah W. will then lead a short guided creative practice where you can write or draw your way through an exploration of that attribute.
To get ready for our first collective practice on Thursday, April 30, think about this current week's attribute of Tiferet, which stands for beauty, compassion, and harmony. On Thursday we will count ourselves into the next week associated with Netzah, which means endurance/eternity/patience.
