About Sabina: Sabina is a long time resident of Ottawa, having arrived here in 1987. She and her husband, John, have been members of Or Haneshama for about 8 years, and have two grown sons, Benjamin and Zachary, who live out of town. Sabina has a full time psychotherapy practice, and pursues many other interests.

About Sabina's Talk: Over a five year period, Sabina wrote memoir essays that grew in number until she was obliged to do something. And that’s how a book, Gazing at the Moon, emerged. It  was launched at the Ben Franklin Council Chambers on November 17th,  2024, in front of an audience of over ninety people. Proceeds of the book sale went to Cornerstone Housing for Women. 

She looks forward to discussing the process of writing these memoir essays, and will read an excerpt from the book at the Freylekh Friday get together on May 9th.
