Or Haneshamah's Community Passover Seder will take place on Saturday, March 31 at 6:00 pm.

This year we will again run two concurrent seders, both at the Unitarian building, 30 Cleary Ave:

• A community seder geared for families with children of all ages but open to anyone who would like a shorter seder of about an hour. Share the four cups and the four questions, enjoy the lively pace, a delicious meal, and all the familiar songs and customs.

• An immersive, leisurely seder led by Rabbi Liz. Dig into the perennial yet relevant questions around freedom, liberation, and identity. Engage the ritual practices and texts, imbued with contemporary resonance.

As space is limited, we will first open registration to OrH-affiliated households - members, Tishrey Visitors and Machaneh Shabbat households - and their guests. If we have places remaining after Monday, March 12, we will then welcome guests from the greater Ottawa Jewish community.

Both seders are potluck events with chicken, fish and vegetarian food welcome on the table. OrH will supply table dressings, gefilte fish, matzot, non-alcoholic drinks, coffee, tea and wine. Please ensure your food contribution is sufficient for at least eight people and feel free to contribute any of the following foods: charoset (Ashkenazi or Sephardi style), salads, hot vegetable side dishes, chicken, fish or vegetarian main courses, kugels and desserts (fruit salad/platters, Passover cookies or cakes). Because meat is being served, please do not bring any dairy.
• Cost: $30 for adults, $15 for children under 13 (free for those under 4). No one will be turned away due to financial constraints; to discuss, contact
