It only happens once a year! That scroll we send all year moving through, finally concludes and begins again. Simchat Torah is the last of our Tishrei chaggim (holidays), a chance to put on our dancing shoes, eat sweet treats (in honour of the sweetness of Torah), listen to the Torah chanting and Torah wisdom.
If we have 40 willing adults present, we can also witness the entire Torah rolled out! There is no experience like it.
