“Many Hands” – our initiative to transform how we collectively support the many offerings of OrH – has been busy!

At the December special meeting, we confirmed that the work of the community needs to be better distributed throughout the membership. Since then, a small group has developed three options for how to change the expectations and clarify the norms about OrH members’ involvement in the community.

The OrH board is calling on members to meet on Sunday April 14, from 3 to 5, in Room 5 at the Unitarians. Our goal is to solicit your insights and perspectives on the options. The session will end with voting on a ranked ballot to identify our community’s preference.

We are at a critical stage – to help uphold the ritual events and programs that we value, to ensure their continuity, and to do the board & committee work that keeps us vibrant, connected and viable, we need to set out on a new path for OrH, and we need to choose that path together.

Please mark your calendars for the afternoon of April 14. Your input will result in one option being presented at the AGM in May for congregational approval.
