Technology, crowd-funding of public records, and crowd-sourcing has made Jewish genealogical research easier than ever. OrH member Inger Weibust has conducted extensive research on her husband's previously unknown family history, building a family-tree of nearly 400 people and connecting branches of the family that have not been in touch for 70 years. Inger shares her adventures in uncovering this history and discusses on-line resources and efficient strategies for genealogical research, all without having to pay for expensive subscription-based genealogical services.
