Dear Friends:
We are excited to announce the full roster for our second series of "Expanding the Reconstructionist Conversation on Israel/Palestine." In response to your strong interest in hearing Palestinian voices, this series will host six distinguished Palestinian scholars and activists discussing history, culture, and politics with attention to diverse Palestinian geographies. We will begin on Wednesday, September 14, with a break for the High Holidays, and continue through mid-December.

We hope you will save these dates and spread the word.  All sessions will begin at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, 7:00 p.m. Central, 5:00 p.m. Pacific time.  You will find profiles of our six speakers at this link, and we will send fuller details in advance of each session.

Tuesday, October 18:  Nadia Saah (Project48), "The Nakba:  Palestinian History Through Testimonies and Images"

Following this series, our colleague Joel Beinin, distinguished professor emeritus of Middle East History at Stanford, will offer a 10-week course on "A History of Palestine and Israel." Classes will take place on Tuesdays (8:00 p.m. Eastern, 7:00 p.m. Central, 5:00 p.m. Pacific) from January 10 to March 14, 2023.  We hope you'll save those dates as well.

Once you have registered for one session, including last year, you are registered for the entire upcoming series. You will automatically receive the link the day before each session.

We were gratified that over 1100 people registered for last spring's sessions. Please help us spread the word by encouraging your friends and community members to join the conversation. You can share this Zoom registration link with them and they will receive these emails.
