The Jewish month of Elul begins during Labour Day weekend, so we launch our holy day season with a 6:00 dinner  followed at 7:00 by a Selihot journaling workshop. Journal-writing is one way to capture your reflections on the year that is coming to an end and to focus your intentions on the year ahead. Some people begin their journal in the month leading up to Rosh Hashanah. We’ll spend some time considering and writing down thoughts, reflections and intentions for the year ahead, followed by some joyous communal music-making at 8:00.
