In the West end (Kanata): "Shhhhh-abat at Lina and Tom's. Shabbat around the table will be an opportunity to wind down the week in a serene intimate setting. Motivated by the baby sleeping upstairs up to six people are invited to check the cell phones at the door, light candles together and share a meal in a relaxed gentle atmosphere. In the West end: Shabbat at Michelle's will explore the link between our spirituality and our political engagement or lack there of. How do our political ethics and beliefs, as well as our social and community activism, confirm and complement or possibly conflict with our spiritual beliefs?
